Wrap up: Career Practitioner Conference 2025
La Trobe University hosted 200 career practitioners from across Victoria at the Melbourne (Bundoora) campus for the 2025 Career Practitioners’ Conference. This included an update from Dr Stacey Farraway, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Future Growth) highlighting two of the universities key priorities that are deeply connected to the future of success of our students and graduates and a keynote presentation by Dr Jennifer Spoor from The Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre who provided career practitioners with a deeper understanding of neurodiversity and the impact of neurodivergence on secondary school students’ career planning.

Entry programs for high school students
Aspire Early Entry Program
The Aspire Early Entry Program offers students access to an adjusted Aspire ATAR for their preferred course and an early conditional offer.
Guaranteed place and scholarship to a regional campus
Students from a regional school with an ATAR of 80 or higher could be guaranteed a place in their chosen La Trobe course.
Elite athlete program
Eligible elite athletes could have a five aggregate point adjustment factor applied towards their application to La Trobe.
