Each year we host a range of exciting events and programs.
Explore our range of events suited for prospective students from Years 9 - 12 and their support people to experience La Trobe. At these events, they can tour our campuses, try out courses in hands-on workshops and meet current students. There's plenty of opportunities to speak our academics and ask staff about our range of services that support your students once they get here.

School holiday campus tours
Throughout the year, we offer scheduled Campus Tours across our campuses. This is a great opportunity for your students to bring along their friends and family and experience our campuses.
Change of Preference Fest
7 December 2023
Visit us one last time before you get your ATAR result. Explore our courses and pathway options, student clubs, support services and more. Of course, there’s fun stuff too so bring your friends and support people along to enjoy some free food, prizes and music and celebrate finishing Year 12 with us.

Change of preference support
11 - 13 December 2023
We’re here to support you through change of preference. Our team will be available on the phone, chat or in-person at our Bundoora campus to help students with their pathway course options. Our regional campuses are offering in-school support.

Experience La Trobe
Returning in 2024
Best suited for Year 9 – 11 students, Experience La Trobe gives students a taste for different courses through hands-on workshops. They get the chance to meet our academic staff and imagine what life will be like as a La Trobe student.
Open Day
Experience campus life first-hand at Open Day. Get expert course advice, explore the campus and chat with students and teachers. Students can also find out about our range of placement and travel opportunities.
Events for Career Practitioners and educators
Attend our events throughout the year for Career Practitioners and keep an eye out for special events with our partners like Carlton Football Club, National Gallery of Victoria and more.
Career Practitioner’s Conference
A day designed just for you. Our annual Career Practitioner’s Conference includes updates from senior staff, alumni presentations, professional development, and hands-on workshops.
