Wrap up: Experience La Trobe Albury-Wodonga 2025
A huge thank you to all the schools that were a part of this years’ Experience La Trobe at our Albury-Wodonga campus. This event is a testament to the power of collaboration, bringing together multiple teams to create an engaging and informative experience for prospective students in our regional community.
Held on Monday, 24th February, this year’s event saw record-breaking registrations and attendance. Schools travelled to attend from as far as Griffith (NSW) and Wangaratta (VIC). Students began the day by meeting other prospective students and attended a welcome presentation before heading off to the workshop sessions. These sessions allowed students to explore a range of discipline areas and career pathways that La Trobe and the Albury-Wodonga campus has to offer. The workshops provided students with an opportunity to engage directly with university academics and gain insights into a variety of careers. Attendees also heard from current La Trobe students as they shared their experience of studying at La Trobe.
In addition to discipline workshops, students had the opportunity to participate in campus tours of La Trobe, a Wodonga TAFE tour, and dedicated sessions on university pathways. A key highlight for the students was to see the newly opened nursing clinical simulation suite. Find out more
